To connect to an Oracle database or Oracle Autonomous Database with Power BI Desktop,we need to follow these steps :

From "Get Data" select "Database" , then "Oracle Database" and click "Connect".

But when we try to connect Oracle Database , we get this error.

To resolve this issue and continue to our connection we need download and install "Oracle Client for Microsoft Tools". From below link, we select the version that is suitable for our system and start the download process.
Run the file downloaded and start the installation process.
Select the language for the installation and click "OK".

The process is in progress.
Select "Next" and continue.

We will continue with default setup. In this step select "Default" type of setup and click "Next".

Select a destination folder where you want to install the files. Then select "Next".

Select "Next" and continue.

Start the installation by selecting "Install".

When the installation process is complete , select "Finish" and exit.

Now we will try connect to Oracle Database from Power BI.
From "Get Data" select "Database" and then select "Oracle Database" and click "Connect".

Because I want to connect my localhost. I enter the "localhost / (sid of the my database)" in the server input.
Select "Import" as connectivity mode and click "Ok".

In these step enter the credentials of your database from Database section.(user name and password). And then "Connect".

Thus, we have connected the Oracle database. From this section, you can load your tables to Power BI.
